VSM’s journey that started with one student has increased many fold over the years. VSM admission process has enabled us to reach needy and deserving candidates across the state with deep penetration into rural Maharashtra. VSM’s 16^th Vardhapan Din was celebrated in Thane on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the C.K.P Hall.  The event comprised of several agenda points including VSM Varshik Ahwal presentation, Students’ Manogat sharing, overview of VSM interventions, launch of Utsavataun Samajakade campaign and many more. The highlight of the event was a play “Vhay mi Savitribai” which covers the entire life of Savitribai Phule and the challenges she faced to educate herself and how she brought about a revolution in Women empowerment and education. The event was attended by more than 500+ audiences including current students, alumni students, Karyakarta palak, Volunteers, Donors and well-wishers.

For the last seven years, VSM has been running the novel donation campaign Utsavatun Samajakade (Festivity to Society) to encourage active participation from all sections of society to join us. The campaign was announced during VSM Vardhapandin and will be launched during Ganesh Festival. We encourage all our donors and well wishers to extend your support during the campaign.

Team ‘Be Frank’ at VSM has developed a ‘School Chale Hum’ program specifically for school children from weaker sections of society. This program aims to equip 8th to 10th-grade children with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster personal growth, development, and cultivate a positive attitude. Be Frank program’s vision is transformation through activity-based learning.
Total 8500 school children are covered under the School chale hum program led by 95 VSM students.
This program helps VSM students build program management skills, take on responsibilities, improve report writing, and enhance communication qualities. Students gain exposure to various geographical areas, understand local problems, and interact with a diverse range of people and students during this period.

We, at VSM strongly believe to inculcate social sensitivity among students. VSM encourages students to participate in social camps to grow as a socially sensitive member of the society. VSM Social Camp calendar keeps students and volunteers updated about the latest social camps.
