The Visual Arts stream of Vidyadaan Sahayak Mandal conducted a Bhavtal photography workshop on 30th November 2025 to help students deepen their visual awareness. Padma Shri Sudharak Olwe led the session, sharing his inspiring journey and guiding students on moving from simply looking to truly seeing. Averil Dais, Deepak Turbhekar, and Santosh Nimbalkar enriched the workshop with insights into photography techniques, photojournalism, and wildlife work. Students engaged in self-study tasks and meaningful discussions, ending the day with renewed clarity and purpose. VSM thanks all partners and supporters for making this initiative possible.

We are delighted to share that one of our VSM students has been honored with a prestigious National Level Award for her painting “Shakti” at the Vishwarang Tagore International Literature and Arts Festival held in Bhopal.
Her artwork was selected as one of the top 5 award-winning entries from a pool of 50 shortlisted paintings—a remarkable achievement showcasing her creativity and dedication.

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to VSM, sharing that the support and guidance received after joining the organization this year played an important role in reaching this milestone.

VSM Pune Branch celebrated its 10th Vardhapan Din on 16th November 2025 at Tata Hall, BMCC Pune. The event brought together students, alumni, trustees, and well-wishers in a heartwarming gathering that showcased cultural performances, inspiring alumni reflections, and a strong display of community support — including a generous ₹50 lakh donation.

A special conversation on the New Education Policy (NEP) added valuable insight to the day, and Adv. Pravin Nikam was felicitated for his selection to the Youth Education Policy Revision Committee. The celebration concluded with Pasaydaan, marking a memorable milestone for VSM Pune’s decade-long journey.

We are delighted to share that Smt. Geeta Shah, Founder Trustee of Vidyadaan Sahayak Mandal (VSM), has been honored with the 16th Keshav Srushti Puraskar for her remarkable contribution to education and social service. Her dedication has empowered countless students to continue their studies and achieve their dreams. This recognition stands as a proud moment for the entire VSM family and all who support its mission.

Like past years, VSM has been running the novel donation campaign Utsavatun Samajakade (Festivity to Society) to encourage active participation from all sections of society to join us. The campaign was announced during VSM Vardhapandin and has been launched during Ganesh Festival. We encourage all our donors and well wishers to extend your support during the campaign.
