Vidyadaan Sahayak Mandal celebrated International Nurses Day 2026 on 17th May, bringing together 113 nursing students from Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Satara. The event was held under the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future – Empowered Nurses Save Lives” and was graced by Dr. Anjali Sharma.

The programme featured role plays on Disaster Management and TRIAGE, insightful sessions by experienced nursing professionals, and a practical “De-stress with Yoga” wellness session. Students also had the opportunity to network, share experiences, and gain valuable perspectives on their future roles in healthcare.

The celebration recognized student achievements, strengthened professional confidence, and highlighted the vital contribution of nurses in building healthier communities. VSM extends its gratitude to Dr. Anjali Sharma, the guest speakers, mentors, and students who made the event a memorable success.
