The event for felicitation of students passing out from VSM was held for the first time in 2019 across all the 5 VSM Branches and was appreciated by students, their parents, VSM mentors (Karyakarta Palak) and the whole VSM community.

The purpose was to show our appreciation towards the students for their long association with VSM and sharing their proud moment of achievement and transformation from a naïve student into a self-sufficient, confidant adult ready to step in the outside world and contribute towards nation building, always keeping in mind the values inculcated in them by VSM.

The Felicitation of our 2020 pass out batch students was held virtually in all branches (through Google meet) due to the COVID-19 pandemic and consequent lock-down.

Passed out Students detailsTotal 84 students from various disciplines of Medicine, Engineering, Arts, Fine Arts, Science, Commerce, ITI have graduated in the Year 2020 as shown in the Table.

The events were carried out on different dates across the VSM branches.

Individual Branch coordinators played a key role in organizing the felicitation event and fondly invited the pass out students, their mentors, their parents and other members of VSM family. The alumni students were also invited and attended the event. The format was flexible and each event was unique in its own way.

CertificateA certificate of association with VSM was awarded to all the students.

It was an overwhelming experience for all, especially for the students and their respective mentors when individual students poured their heart out and expressed their thanks and shared their ups & downs in their long association (4 years or more) with their mentors, their career teams and with VSM.

These students will now be part of VSM Alumni Association led by VSM mentor Mr. Pramathesh Navalekar. He explained  how they could still be associated with VSM, now as an Alumni. Also, as the students will start earning, they were given important tips on financial planning and how to manage their overall finances effectively.

During the event, many students shared their journey with VSM. Some excerpts are reproduced below:

When I could not concentrate on my studies, my mentor suggested to subscribe a library, which tremendously improved my academics. I have inculcated VSM values, by which now I am teaching school children in my community. I wish to be a mentor and part of Career Guidance team in VSM”
