Prathmesh Ayare welcomed all and explained how each alumnus can contribute to achieving VSM goals. Chetna, Kavita & Rahul spoke about VSM’s help at each crucial stage in their career and further explained how active participation in VSM activities can help overall development of a person.
Shri. Anil Harolikar shared his experience about how unity among alumni in general bonds well and helps in many ways.
The “Alumni’s Appreciation” was delivered by Geeta Shah wherein she explained the importance of keeping universal goals. She shared the data of alumni contribution to the various different programs of VSM and appreciated the gratitude fund raised by VSM alumni and said that she sees them as future Mentors & members of VSM managing Committee. She spoke about the significant contribution of alumni’s of global Institutions of repute like the IITs, IIMs, Harvard Business School, etc which have made a huge difference to these institutes in a very positive way.
She explained the participants how to utilize quality time for VSM alongside taking care of all other responsibilities & duties. Her vision for alumni after 20years- “I would like to see that after 20 years Govt. of India invites socially sensitive VSM alumni to be part of a committee set up by the Govt. to solve some of the national problems”.
Parag Rede took an interactive session addressing the queries of alumni about employee-boss relationship, Job change, CV preparation etc.
Shri. Ashutosh Gadgil explained how to work in a structured format by documenting and reporting the work in set formats for VSM alumni and thereby completing a task by taking a systematic approach.
Dr. Archana Damle conducted a fun-filled Hula Hoop Team Building activity. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the activity along with the take away messages of observation, concentration, co-operation, different ways of handling situations, learning from others/ own mistakes and finally how to work effectively as a TEAM.
Alumni Ekta Gawande concluded the program with vote of thanks.
